My husband and I, along with another couple, stayed at this amazing hotel for three nights, and I truly enjoyed every moment. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The restaurant was the highlight for us—we had both breakfast and dinner there, and the food was fresh and delicious. We were especially excited to see monkeys during breakfast, along with many birds and other animals. We also enjoyed walking across the hanging bridges and exploring the trails. A stunningly beautiful resort in the mountains and jungle. Everything is open, only the rooms have large windows offering a fantastic view of the jungle or the sea. A bar and restaurant are available. Happy Hour is offered. The hotel is located in an adventure park. Nevertheless, the town of Quepos, the beach and the Manuel Antonio National Park can be reached by car in a short time. Along the way you'll find restaurants, markets, and small boutiques.

The hotel's structure is really cool. The bar has an incredible view of the sea, and it's possible to stay there during happy hour, watching the wonderful sunset. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful view, air conditioning, a minibar, and a very good shower. All contact with the staff during the stay was done via WhatsApp, in a very practical way.

Good location, near Manuel Antonio Park.
The trails and suspension bridges make this a highly recommended spot.
You can't miss the free tour of the place.
We even saw an anteater, as well as a sloth.
The staff who run the tour are excellent; they are very knowledgeable and have a great rapport with children.
My daughter even got a temporary tattoo from him (with leaves).
After we had breakfast, many monkeys came to visit us.
The girls were able to give him food, wonderful.

Great place to stay at and close to beaches and Manuel Antonio National Park. Wifi was spotty at times during the night and without internet but eventually comes back. Wildlife is rampant and can see monkeys, iguanas, and more. Happy hour is cheap and the service is amazing. Thank you Mountain Top Park!

Staff were very polite and quick to reply. Helpful with reservations for activities around the area. Staff did not help with luggage or offer assistance. When they say “some stairs” it’s very steep, cobblestone flights of stairs. Definitely pay to upgrade, we did and I was very happy.

The access to nature trails, suspension bridges and wildlife was incredible!! The hotel itself isn’t the fanciest, but was clean and close to all the things we wanted to visit. Great spot! Highly recommend! We saw lots of wildlife here!

Fantastic property within a park; wonderful to wake up in nature. A hike was included in the price. The trails were beautiful, and the breakfast overlooking the park and the sea was excellent. The transport service within the structure to reach the restaurant is also excellent.

"Clean room, newly renovated bathroom and air conditioning. It is at the top of the mountain, so the view from the room and the dining room is fantastic. Breakfast includes fresh fruit and traditional dishes. The staff is very friendly. We saw squirrel monkeys and capuchin monkeys during the guided walk. Parking is limited, but we never had problems finding a spot. I highly recommend it!"

We had a problem with the Standard Rooms, we reported it and they upgraded us to the Top Mountain Rooms next to the restaurant; these are new and of a better category.
In summary, we had the best experience in the highest category rooms.
This is the second time we've stayed here, and we would totally recommend staying in those rooms.
The morning experience was incredible; a squirrel monkey came to eat and interact, a large group of toucans (5x), frogs, and the breakfast was always good.

Even before our arrival, the support from the Mountain Top Hotel via Airbnb and chat was excellent. This continued throughout our entire stay. The hotel booked a guided hike in Manuel Antonio for us at short notice, as we couldn't book anything through the official website sinac.cra (it was fully booked). The guided tour through Mountain Top Park was fantastic. It took us across suspension bridges and along trails. Elsewhere, you'd pay a lot for something like this. We were lucky enough to have the tour all to ourselves with the guide. Breakfast was outstanding. Dinner in the restaurant was also very good, perhaps a little pricey. The entire hotel team was very friendly and always helpful. In our room outside the main building, we felt like we were in a treehouse. The price-performance ratio was absolutely fine for us. We can highly recommend this hotel. Thank you so much!

A little paradise nestled between forest and ocean!
Very good location, close to Manuel António Park by car, and several restaurants. Comfortable, spacious, and functional room with a large balcony and panoramic views of the mountains, valley, and forest. Very quiet. Very good breakfast buffet, in a room with a magnificent view of the forest and sea! Offering a tour of approximately 1 hour across suspension bridges in the forest with the guide José, who is very helpful and willing to provide information in English and Spanish about animals and plants. Very close observation of sloths, toucans and monkeys, much better than in Manuel António Park. Guaranteed parking included. Friendly and attentive staff: They provided breakfast before the service opened when we visited Manuel António Park. Thank you!

Mountain Top Park Hotel is absolutely amazing. The views are breathtaking, and the property feels peaceful and immersed in nature while still being close to everything in Manuel Antonio. The great mountain view was worth every penny. Although the room was a little small for our family, the wildlife views more than made up for it. We saw toucans, titi and capuchin monkeys, iguanas, and even a sloth right next to one of the hanging bridges located on the property!

We had a very pleasant stay: the breakfast was very good, and the rooms and the view were spectacular. The main issue with the hotel is the lack of parking space, which makes arriving at night in the rain quite an ordeal—you end up completely wet and covered in mud while trying to find a spot.

We stayed at this hotel for two days and we had a great time. The room and the bathroom were very clean and spotless. The view from the balcony of the room was fantastic. The bar and restaurant had a fabulous siting area. Plenty of wildlife around. We had capuchin and squirrel monkeys visit us in the mornings. The staff were very friendly. My wife had a great massage in house by a fantastic masseuse, Wendolyn Serrano Vega. She is highly recommended if you’re interested.

Nice area with its own walking trails. Beautiful view from the restaurant at the top. We were a family of 4, our kids would sleep on the sofa bed but it was not prepared for them, we had to do it ourselves. The complimentary early morning tour through the hotels garden and hanging bridges was a very nice bonus. The restaurant was only open at meal times when we visited. Breakfast buffet is simple and starts at 7am. We had a 7 am tour one day and couldn’t get a breakfast to go earlier than that. We arrived on a rainy evening and had to search a bit to find the hotel despite Waze and Google maps.

This was our favourite place to stay on our trip! Our room was on the second floor at the top of the property and featured a balcony with comfortable seating and a swing, plus an incredible mountain view. The property has its own park with hanging bridges and short trails, and they offer a complimentary guided tour each morning. José was very knowledgeable and spent over an hour with just the two of us. We saw many different birds, frogs, and even a sloth. Breakfast was delicious, and I especially loved the variety of fresh fruit juices. The all-you-can-eat buffet was one of the best breakfasts we had during our trip. The ocean views from the restaurant are absolutely amazing! Although we didn't get to try dinner, as the restaurant was closed when we stayed there, we spent a few hours relaxing, sipping complimentary tea, and admiring the sunset.

We loved this place so much. Within 5 minutes of arriving, we saw more wildlife than we had in the past 3 days, just on the property. Macaws, sloths, frogs, agoutis, iguanas, toucans—you name it. We were lucky enough to have capuchin monkeys visit the trees right outside our room every morning too. It really felt like staying on a wildlife preserve.
The night tour is worth doing as well! We were able to see so many red-eyed tree frogs during it. The location is great, and everyone who works at this hotel is so kind and fun. We loved visiting the rooftop restaurant and bar every day for the unbeatable view (you can even take their hanging bridges to get there).

Enjoy breakfast and sunsets with one of the most breathtaking views of both the ocean and the mountains. The eight hanging bridges and jungle walkways below are truly unique and were brilliantly showcased by the very knowledgeable José during a complimentary walking tour.
Resident capuchin monkeys, sloths, and iguanas are a delight to see around the property. While the hotel and park feel a bit tired in some areas, and the large cartoon-style billboards at the entrance give the wrong first impression, this is genuinely a special location. Overall, it’s a great experience with a wonderful, friendly team who truly care and go out of their way to look after their guests.

Everything at Mountain Top Park Hotel exceeded my expectations! The room was spotless, and the view was absolutely breathtaking. From my room, I observed many monkeys in the forest every morning, and one morning a white-faced monkey even visited my balcony! During my stay, I also saw pairs of macaws, toucans, and agoutis.
The hotel offers a complimentary morning tour, which I joined, and it was a wonderful experience. Our guide, Jose, explained the animals and plants on the property in great detail and helped us spot a sloth, a huge iguana, several lizards, and countless monkeys!
I had dinner at the restaurant on two nights and tried the fish tacos and seafood soup—both looked and tasted amazing. The view from the restaurant was stunning as well. All the staff members I encountered were friendly and courteous. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Manuel Antonio in the future!

You will see monkeys, sloths, iguanas and so many more all over the place! The staff....WOW! They're all wonderful, helpful, friendly and so personable! They have great suggestions and help to set up tours and provide really good options for things to do in town. The restaurant and bar are a joy to spend time in while eating fantastic food! Came here to celebrate my honeymoon, and it couldn’t have been more special. Such a lovely stay! We chose a room with an amazing view of the mountains and seaside. Breakfast everyday was just as beautiful in their restaurant. Tons of activities and spa service to book right on the property if you don’t feel like venturing into town. Staff is wonderful and super responsive to any needs. You’ll see so much wildlife there and I highly recommend doing one of their tours. You’ll probably see more there up in the hills then in Manuel Antonio national park. Pura Vida!

The hotel is very nicely and quietly located, with a beautiful view of the surrounding greenery. The staff were very friendly, the food in the restaurant was delicious, and we were allowed to help ourselves to the breakfast buffet a little earlier, as we wanted to be in Manuel Antonio Park by 7 a.m. Unfortunately, we missed the free guided tour in the morning, but in the evening and very early morning we walked across the suspension bridges on our own and were able to observe macaws and monkeys, among other things. We would have liked to stay a second night, but unfortunately our travel plans did not allow for that. Nothing.

I loved the hotel, everything I love, nature, wildlife, amenities, nice views. No pool but the beach it's very close. Definitely my only reason to come back to Costa Rica. 😻 I went to Manuel Antonio National Park and only saw a monkey, at the hotel I enjoyed so much the walking, the hanging breaches. the macaws, the monkeys even saw a mom with a baby, toucans, an sloth on one of the hanging breaches they have no need to pay a guide to see the wildlife. I definitely recommend this hotel, the breakfast was good, service excellent!

We loved our stay at Mountain Top Park. We had the corner room with the wraparound balcony, and the view was 10/10. The staff couldn't have been friendlier and were so helpful. It was lovely eating breakfast every morning while watching monkeys play in the trees, and then closing out the day with happy hour, watching the sun slip into the Pacific.

Although it’s not what you might expect when thinking of an Airbnb (it’s a hotel), it’s a curious place with its own hanging walkways and a large forest/garden. The views from the upstairs restaurant are highly recommended. The staff were very attentive and professional. The room is basic but sufficient. A ceiling fan would help those of us who aren’t big fans of air conditioning. I understand it’s surrounded by nature, but adding a bit of silicone to the windows would help keep ants from coming in. In summary, it’s a practical option for spending a night if you’re visiting Manuel Antonio.

The breakfast was very varied and delicious, and the staff service was excellent. The hotel is in an excellent location, with great restaurants nearby, as well as Manuel Antonio National Park. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The best thing about the room is the view, the balcony, and the cleanliness. It's not spacious, but it's sufficient and matches what you see in the photos. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel welcome and well taken care of. The breakfast is good, and the view from the restaurant is another highlight.

Although we had a nice room, there were no animals to see as described when the room was booked. We were not able to see any monkeys — the whole reason I wanted to stay there, because every photo online shows lots of monkeys everywhere and even coming onto the balconies.

Everything was beautiful — just what you need. It’s the perfect hotel for when you “want to go to the beach, have fun, do several things, and just use the room to sleep.” The sheets were very clean, everything was comfortable overall, and the price was excellent.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The accommodation and the entire property are beautiful and very well maintained. We regularly saw monkeys, toucans, sloths, and even a raccoon (and much more). It is truly amazing how much wildlife you can experience right at your doorstep.
There is so much to explore on the grounds, and the free guided tour included in the price was warm, informative, and very well done. A great bonus was being driven back up by golf cart after walking down the hill. Excellent service!

My stay was simply perfect. I searched extensively and definitely chose the best option. The room was spotless, just like the photos! The staff were incredibly friendly and greeted me warmly and kindly. I requested special birthday decorations and they outdid themselves! I also received a complimentary mini massage session and the tour of the hanging bridges was spectacular. A great variety of animals and trails filled with nature. Highly, highly recommended. They made my stay in Manuel Antonio amazing!

Incredible place, it feels so calm!!!! Our stay was wonderful. The place is surrounded by nature and truly feels like a little paradise. We were lucky enough to spend hours watching a sloth in a tree in front of the property, see macaws flying at sunset, and wake up every morning to little monkeys approaching while we ate breakfast. Additionally, the accommodation is comfortable, clean, and has everything you need to enjoy the experience. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic connection with nature and unforgettable moments.!

I have traveled a lot and this is genuinely one of the coolest properties I’ve ever stayed at. Absolutely breathtaking view from the room, top of the line appliances and finishes, free breakfast every morning, a restaurant on property to have drinks and dinner, and breathtaking nature surrounding you. The staff was the best part of our stay. We came to enjoy chatting with them throughout the day and they truly went above and beyond. Would book this in a heartbeat again if I find myself back in Costa Rica. You won’t get a better experience somewhere.

We absolutely loved our stay here! If you're looking for lots of animal encounters, this is the place. The suspension bridges and trails around the property allowed us to see monkeys, iguanas, agoutis, toucans, and even a sloth. Our animal encounters here were better than at any of the parks we visited, including Arenal Volcano National Park and Manuel Antonio National Park. They helped us book activities, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. And yes, the monkeys will try to open the sliding doors! It was so much fun watching them right from our bed.

The accommodation is super beautiful, the views are totally worth it, as well as all the nature of the surrounding forest, its fauna and flora. The rooms are very comfortable and beautiful, and all the staff is extremely friendly and attentive at all times. The price is very reasonable, especially since it includes breakfast and a guided tour of the property where we definitely learned a lot. The hanging bridges are a challenge the first time, especially for people afraid of heights, but from my experience, you just have to live it and enjoy it, leaving fears behind; it is a unique experience.

My friends and I stayed here for 2 nights. The staff here were all very friendly and accommodating. They provided good communication and were very proactive. They were kind enough to upgrade us to a bigger room with a very nice mountain view. The location is also very convenient to take Ubers to nearby popular restaurants. It’s also very close to the Manuel Antonio National Park (a must-do activity when visiting this town). Overall, a 5/5 stay! Thanks for having us!

They deserve more than just 5 stars! We were truly amazed by our stay here. The place is wonderful, both in terms of facilities and scenery. Everyone was very kind and helpful, always striving to make our stay even better.
The included tour is beautiful—walking across the bridges was a real adventure. And the night tour? Worth every penny, even though it has an additional cost. José explained everything to us in great detail.
Without a doubt, we highly recommend it and are already looking forward to coming back!

Everything was great! We spent two nights here over the Easter holidays. It's a simple hotel room with a bathroom and no balcony. The large windows offer a direct view of the surrounding nature. Enzo and his team were very helpful and friendly. The guided tour at 7:00 a.m. was excellent. Tip: you’ll see more animals on the 7:00 a.m. tour than later in the morning. The delicious dinner at the restaurant, with a view of the ocean and rainforest at sunset... simply unforgettable. Breakfast is also served there. The staff’s recommendations were spot on.

The accommodation was well located and had a great view. We had a few problems with the rooms, but these were resolved by the receptionist, "Amy". He made a lot of effort and was always helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi didn't work and the water in the shower drained badly. The breakfast was okay but nothing exceptional. The park promised more than it delivered; there was no pool, and the tours/activities there were expensive.

The accommodation is located inside a park and features unique attractions like hanging bridges, a zip line, and a great view from the restaurant. In our case, there were guests in the room above, and we could hear every step and movement, which was quite annoying. Also, it’s important to keep in mind that the room is surrounded by animals, so there is constant noise at night and roosters crowing at dawn

Just a small suggestion: consider adding a door handle. It seems to have an extra lock that is used from the inside, but it doesn’t fully secure the door — maybe it opens with the code.

We had an amazing experience staying here. The views of the rainforest and water are unlike any other place. We saw sloths, macaws, and toucans right outside the window.
